Terms of Service
Last updated : September 18, 2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Ondula software and related services. By using Ondula, you accept these terms.
1. Definitions
"Service" means the Ondula software and all related services (transcription, cloud mode, online account).
"User" means any person using the Service, with or without an account.
"Publisher" means Ondula, sole proprietorship based in Belgium.
2. Service Description
Ondula is voice dictation software that allows you to:
- Transcribe voice to text
- Automatically copy text to clipboard
- Work invisibly from the system tray
The Service is available as a free (limited) version, as a monthly subscription for cloud mode and as a one-time lifetime purchase for local mode.
3. Free Offer
The cloud quota with an account refills automatically every Monday, with no end date. The other free quotas are one-time credits and are not renewed.
Local mode: 1 free hour per machine, or 3 hours with a free account, as a one-time credit that is not renewed.
4. Paid Offers
4.1 Available Plans
- Cloud : €3.90/month excl. tax. 50h of cloud transcription per month
- Local lifetime : €29.99 excl. tax, one-time payment. Unlimited Local dictation, no subscription
4.2 Payment
Payments are processed by our payment partner, acting as Merchant of Record. Prices are exclusive of VAT; the VAT applicable to your country is calculated and displayed at checkout.
4.3 Renewal
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
4.4 Refund
Refund requests are sent to support and reviewed case by case, in particular when there is a technical problem. This review does not affect your legal rights, including the EU consumer right of withdrawal. Refunds are issued by our payment partner, the official seller of our offers.
4.5 Local Lifetime Unlock
The Local mode unlock is a one-time purchase tied to your account, with no subscription or renewal. It does not expire: once activated on a machine, Local mode works there with no time limit, even offline. It can be activated on up to ten machines per account; beyond that, write to support. Activating a new machine requires signing in to your account and therefore depends on the availability of the Service. If you are refunded, your right of use ends and the unlock can no longer be activated on a new machine. Deleting your account ends the unlock, without refund.
