What is Ondula?
Ondula is a Windows voice-dictation app that lives in the taskbar. A global shortcut starts recording, then text is pasted into the active app. You choose between cloud and local mode.
How does Ondula work?
Press your shortcut once to start, speak, then press it again to finish. In cloud mode, audio is sent only for the time needed to transcribe it and is not retained by Ondula. In local mode, the model installed on your PC transcribes without a connection. Text then appears in the active app.
What systems does Ondula work on?
Ondula runs on 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11.
How many languages are supported?
In Cloud mode, Ondula transcribes more than 100 languages. In Local mode, it transcribes 25, all European, including English, French, German, Spanish and Italian: you choose the language before you dictate. The app interface is available in 10 languages.
